GEOMAGNETIC FIELD
On rare occasions unnatural beams would come down from the sky, seemingly out of nowhere. They also looked like something was coming down in the beams. These were much different than the beams that came out of the portal, but this may be a different type of portal than the one recorded on infrared video since many light rods fell from this same general area or floated near the portal.
