With my camera held out in front of me and snapping pictures as fast as the camera would allow, I was able to see these beams with my eyes as they shot across the air in front of me. I would like to see someone duplicate this process while filming with a video recorder to see if the movement of the beams could be captured. A strobe light may also serve the purpose of illuminating the beams, so a video camera could film them, but I’ve had great success getting a lot of good pictures this way. I would never advise anyone to miss out on a good photo opportunity.
